Sharing the Work

Tags

Over the last three years, we have shared work produced by participants in Duke University’s Documenting Medicine program in three end-of-year events, a number of exhibits, in national conferences (including the American Public Health Association, the international Narrative Medicine Conference, the American Society for Bioethics and Humanities, the American Psychiatric Association and others) as well as local ones, in Grand Rounds talks, lectures and a variety of publications. In this video, Dr. John Moses and Liisa Ogburn provide opening remarks at the most recent end-of-year celebration, made to a packed house in the auditorium of the Center for Documentary Studies. Next year’s event, open to the public, will be held in a larger venue. Interested in participating yourself? We are now accepting applications for fall 2013. To apply, email Liisa Ogburn.
